From the Art societies pumpkin carving event, to our notorious sell out Halloween event at The Platform Club, it’s fair to say we take Halloween very seriously here at UNSU. Amongst all our frightening activities, our students still found time to raise some money for an incredible cause! The Bioscience society paired with the recently reformed Marrow society to conjure up some spookily scrummy sweet treats for a charity cake sale in the Learning Hub!
Among the bakes were a selection of traditional muffins, alongside a variety of skeleton shaped cookies, pumpkin orange iced cupcakes and gruesome green bat treats to really fit the true Halloween theme. It is no wonder the sale did so well. Students were super keen to indulge in the societies creative cakes, leaving us with a whopping total of £152 for the Antony Nolan Charity.
A massive well done to Bioscience and Marrow on this ‘dead’ exciting event. We can’t wait to see what else you have in store this year!
