SU COVID-19 Update

Coronavirus Update

During this difficult time for all our students, we want to assure you that we are working with the University of Northampton to keep you updated on the ongoing pandemic (COVID-19). We are following the official advice regarding social distancing and will be closing the Engine Shed on Friday 20th March 2020 until further notice.

We have to make the health and wellbeing of our members and the community we exist within our primary concern. The governments advice is to avoid unnecessary travel, social gatherings including pubs, clubs, restaurants and theatres to help stop the virus from spreading. The most important thing you can do is to continue washing your hands with soap and water for 20 seconds. Make sure you cough or sneeze into a tissue, put this in the bin and wash your hands.

We would advise our students to check the following official advice from Public Health England (PHE) here which is regularly updated and you can also use the NHS COVID-19 screening webpage here for more guidance, which is suitable for all ages.
