It has been announced England will be entering a second lockdown from Thursday 5th November until Wednesday 2nd December 2020. In line with the new guidance the University will remain open during lockdown and face-to-face teaching will not be affected. The campus remains safe for students and we encourage you to continue to follow the safety measures in place, such as wearing a face covering in all University buildings and using the sanitisation stations provided. In line with government guidelines and the move to reduce social contact, The Engine Shed and Pit Stop Café will be closed from Wednesday 4th November until further notice. The Platform Nightclub will also be closed from Thursday 5th November. The UniExpress shop located on Boughton Green Road will remain open, Monday - Friday 12pm till 7pm and Saturday - Sunday 12pm till 4pm. The Art Shop inside the Creative Hub on Waterside Campus, will remain open Monday - Thursday from 11am till 2:30pm.
All sport and societies in person activity is suspended until further notice but online activity will still continue. Please contact individual groups to see how you can get involved. You can find their social media channels and contact details here.
Furthermore, the Students’ Union Executive Officer team and service staff will still be available to contact via email and social media. We are still here for you and will continue to offer advice and support to all students.
