Vice President Education Resignation

Cameron Vanloo has resigned from his position as Vice President (Education) this week, with immediate effect. He has decided to leave the Students’ Union for personal reasons.

In accordance with our bye-laws, we will not be running a bye-election for this post. The position will remain vacant until July 1st 2020, when the successful candidate from our up-coming elections will take up the post.

It has been agreed that Gemma Lovegrove (SU President 2019-20) will be responsible Cameron’s area of work until the end of June 2020. If you have any enquiries regarding academic representation, please direct those towards Gemma.

Cameron has been involved with the Students’ Union for the last four years, taking up various volunteer roles in clubs and societies and within our Course Advocacy system.

SU President Gemma Lovegrove said “We would like to thank Cameron for his passion and dedication in his role as Vice President (Education) and we wish him all the best in the future”.
