The aim of this society is to unify all Muslim students, and anyone interested in learning about Islam. Additionally, this society will allow people from different cultures to connect and learn more about one another. As most people will primarily identify with their religion, this will help all new and previous students to bond and become friends with peers with whom they share common grounds. I intend to make it a platform for not just Muslims but anyone who is interested in learning about Islam rather than the way it is depicted by the media. Our main objective as a society will be to cater to religious needs and educate ourselves and others about Islam. Our main activities will be welcome freshers' week, charity week, charity dinner, 'do good week', game night, Islamic awareness week, breaking our fasts together during Ramadan, Eid festivals, guest speakers and sponsored charity walks or climbs. As the membership increases these basic events will be catered for accordingly. As more students join, the more we will understand their needs, interests and preferences so we can deliver content and services accordingly.
